I’ve been waiting so long for the interview only to completely make a fool of myself. I was so overconfident that I thought I could just show up unprepared and expect to get the job. It’s not as if I don’t know better, I’m actually very professional. It's just that I’ve been working for myself so long thought I forgot how things work in the corporate world.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, I pretty much got thrown out of the office. Ok, I wasn’t really thrown out but that’s what it felt like. Hopefully, this doesn’t get back to Melanie before I’m able to tell her. And I also have to figure out what the heck am I going to tell my parents. This can’t be life.
